This extraordinary journey through Anatolia begins with the tourism and history hub of Meram Vineyards. Located at the intersection of Yeni Meram Street and Yaka Street in Meram Municipality, the 18,000-square-meter area has been revitalized to bring the historic Meram Vineyards back to life.

Within the vineyard, visitors can explore the Summer Tea Garden, a stone building reflecting Meram’s past, 200-year-old oak trees, over a thousand grapevines, and nearly two hundred fruit saplings.

Guests can pick and enjoy the vineyard’s fruits at their peak ripeness, savoring the flavors of Meram’s fertile lands. In autumn, visitors are also treated to traditional offerings of molasses and bulgur prepared right in the vineyard.

Lavender Garden: Experience the Most Beautiful Shades of Purple!

Located in Dere Neighborhood, just west of Meram Vineyard, the Lavender Garden was established by Meram Municipality on a 20,000 m² area, offering visitors an unforgettable experience.

The Lavender Garden, designed on 10,000 m² of the site, features a wooden boardwalk, a marble water pool pergola, seating benches, an observation terrace, a swing terrace, a wellness trail, and rose arches.

Tavusbaba Mausoleum and Mosque: An Invitation to a Spiritual Journey!

Located at the foot of Aydın Çavuş Observation Hill, the Tavusbaba Mausoleum and Mosque are among the most striking highlights of this tourism route. Tavusbaba, who settled in Konya from India, was honored by the Seljuk sultans for his contributions to culture and Sufi teachings.

Although his exact birth and death dates are unknown, he is believed to have lived during the reign of Seljuk ruler Rükneddin. During his time, Tavusbaba had a small mosque built on Seyirtepe, which remains open for worship today. Constructed from wood, the mosque reflects the architectural style of its era. Thanks to restoration efforts by Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Meram Municipality, the surrounding area has been revitalized, offering visitors a refreshed and historical ambiance.

Historical Meram Bridge: Witness of Time!

The Historical Meram Bridge, a rare site admired for its architecture, aesthetic appeal, and natural beauty, is located just below the Tavusbaba Tomb.

Built over the Meram Stream during the 13th century Seljuk period, the bridge stretches approximately 30 meters in length and 5 meters in width. Surrounded by majestic trees, it spans the flowing stream with five arches made of cut stone, and both sides feature railings constructed from large stone blocks.

Owned by Meram Municipality, two traditional Konya houses positioned opposite each other around a single courtyard, along with the vineyard area behind them, have been transformed by the municipality into the City and Life Culture Museum. The museum beautifully reflects Meram’s unique, intricate, and refined cultural heritage.

Visitors can closely experience all aspects of life in Meram, including being born, childhood, weddings, parenthood, passing away, kitchens, vineyards and gardens, seasonal changes, and social ceremonies.

Additionally, the museum offers short and simple interactive experiences for visitors, such as grape stomping, baking bread in a tandoor, making traditional flatbread (şebit), and churning butter in a yoke (yayık).

80,000 Leagues Around the World Park, a first of its kind in Turkey with three distinct concepts, features 120 miniature works, 50 moving and sound-equipped dinosaurs, and models of fairy tale and television characters.

The life-sized, moving, and sound-enabled dinosaurs open the doors to a different world for visitors, while the “Cihan-ı Türk” section showcases miniature works reflecting our thousand-year-old state traditions, architecture, and artistic heritage.
